Ummm....not blogging very well am I? Well, life is pretty hectic in the Farrell family household. There's been a lot of TLC that's needed to go around and as the only adult here most of the time, that's my job alone! Things are beginning to settle down but i now have a lot of work coming in from various little projects (non scrapping - i'm not that lucky!!). It's keeping me mega busy and i'm juggling all sorts of things.

It's Freya's 10th birthday tomorrow and i'm really wondering where the time has gone. That and some other personal stuff has meant a lot of reflection over the past weeks, there are a lot of anniversaries around, it's a year since Pete's father passed, 10 years since my first daughter was born which was a very difficult time as my exhusband had just left me, just over 10 years since I lost another baby, five years since me and Pete got married, a week to go til I find out if Emily has got into the school we've applied for plus only a month since Freya's dad moved to France. So you can see there's been a hell of a lot to take stock of. It's meant a time of refocussing on whats important to me. I hope the person will know who i'm talking about but T, if you read this I want to say a big thank you..........what you said in our last call really made a lot of sense. Sometimes you have to strip things down to their bare basics and forget all that other stuff to realise what makes you happy in the first place. I've done that to a very large degree and even though it's been a difficult few months emotionally, I can honestly say that I haven't been this happy or content with my lot in years. I'm hopeful of the future and grateful that I can love and be loved without question anymore. Thank you T. X

WEll we took a battering down here from the wind yesterday. I almost lost the car door on two occasions. It was the kind of wind that you couldn't even stand up in. It's still really nasty out there today but thankfully the wind has died down. Please don't let it be like this when the kids are off....they'll go crackers!
