A new challenge......

that I thought I would give a go. Can't even remember where I saw this blog but as it's portraiture photography that I'd like to learn, I thought this would prove a very helpful little website!

Well, the challenge for this week (week 42) is Halloween or some kind of dressing up photo where the emphasis is on the face. Well, as our Halloween bash isn't until Saturday, I thought about this photograph of Emily that I took for World Book Day last year. Seemed like a contradiction at the time....Em going as Little Miss Sunshine, however her little sister has taken over the title of 'Farrell Household Resident Misery Arse' so it's a little more apt now!

Anyway, today was Natasha's birthday so I will be back on tomorrow to add some photos taken today. Finally got the camera out which hasn't seen the light of day for the past few weeks!

I love her pretty green eyes! I was the same way about not having any Halloween pictures! Next week is balloons at I heart faces so you could use the WAY cool picture you have in your blog header as your entry! I LOVE that! I am glad you found it and joined. You will definitely learn a lot and also have fun while you are doing it! Welcome!

Happy birthday to your little one! I love this picture.. the "freckles" are perfect. And I can just hear your accent.. the wonderful pharmacy lady at our local grocery is from Great Britain, and I could just stand there and listen to her talk for hours... (but she'd then most likely get canned, so I suppose I'd best not do that). Welcome to I Heart Faces; it's my favorite community on the Web, hands down.

Is this your first entry? it is great! Also, welcome to the fun addiction of I heart Faces! I've definitely learned a lot.

i agree--that balloon shot would have been wonderful for next week! I can't wait to see what you do for the theme, though--and happy birthday to your daughter!

This really, really, really cute. I remember I used to do that, WHEN I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL! But it looks so much cuter on a little girl. Great entry!
